In 2020, we had dreamed of creating a collaborative project during the Rencontres photo of Tangier. But alas, who could have envisioned us sitting in front of screens for the majority of the year on opposite sides of the sea.  We needed to find a medium to broadcast new voices that force us to change our gaze, showcase this diversity, and let the stories be told by the photographers.

The newspaper came as a tangible answer that we could hold in our hands so that our interactions were not only virtual. We conceived it by reinterpreting the codes of the traditional press and taking inspiration from a deeply thought-through and designed path that a festival proposes. The projects we have chosen here all express an idea of freedom and trajectory and offer us a plunge into universes that are not always accessible to us.
